Objective To examine the effectiveness of pegylated liposomal doxorubicin (PLD) maintenance therapy (intravenous administration at dose 40 mg/m(2) on day 1, repeated every 4 weeks) after first-line salvage chemotherapy for platinum-sensitive recurrent epithelial ovarian cancer.
