Although the psychological and neuroscientific literature on spatial cognition has been flourishing in the last few decades, there was still an urgent need for a comprehensive state-of-the-art review of the neuropsychological approach to the representation of space and navigation. The volume edited by Postma and van der Ham fortunately meets the expectations of the scientific community. An additional valuable feature of the book is that it originates from one of the most active and renowned group of European researchers in this domain.
