Eni and Total enter unexplored Algerian deepwater

Eni and Total have agreed to take acreage in deepwater Algeria. The heads of the two companies signed an exclusive partnership to take up acreage in the little explored Algerian offshore with national oil company Sonatrach. The two will assess offshore blocks for "the rapid completion of the hydrocarbon potential."
