Eni adds Angolan exploration quartet after block grows

Eni is drilling the first of four new wells in deepwater Block 15/06 off Angola after being given extra neighbouring acreage that it hopes will hold tie-back candidates. The company already has two FPSO hubs on the acreage and, as previously revealed by AOG (see 25 October 2018), is in the early stages of bidding for the Kalimba project on the block.
