Woodside hoping to slash Senegal SNE costs by a quarter

Woodside is hoping that costs for its SNE project off Senegal will have dropped by as much as a quarter when it receives bids at the end of this month. All the usual names are involved with bids due in by the end of May for the FPSO, SPS and SURF. Costs for the 100,000 b/d first phase have been estimated at around US $2.3 Bn and it will take in 240m bbl of the 563m bbl and 1 Tcf of gas that are recoverable.
