Ocean Installer has been awarded a second decommissioning contract for the Chinguetti field off Mauritania. The company won an original contract from BW Offshore in February for the disconnection, lay down and wet storage of the flexible risers, umbilical and mooring lines from the FPSO. Operator Petronas has now awarded Ocean Installer the decommissioning of the risers and umbilicals on the field.
