Kariya Energy joins hunt for African assets and mini-LNG

Little known Kariya Energy said it will enter into various definitive agreements to acquire upstream and oil and gas assets in Africa and that it has completed due diligence on producing marginal fields in Nigeria and Congo Brazzaville. Director Gerd Nji told AOG that the focus "is on marginal and depleting assets. My colleagues have great experience working in Africa and the Gulf of Mexico and as such, we are positive that enhanced oil recovery strategies will be beneficial to many African marginal projects or fields facing a natural decline."
