New study to assess floaters for Angolan marginals

TechnipFMC,Halliburton and floating specialist Amplus Energy Services have been handed a contract to re-evaluate the development of marginal fields in Angola.The aim is to spend six months developing economically viable field development solutions for a”major operator”.Amplus has developed what it calls a versatile production unit(VPU)which is a low cost FPSO.There are three models with minimum production capacity of 3,000 b/d of oil and maximum of 60,000 b/d.
