Shell readies Nigerian shallow bonanza

Shell is now fast-tracking the development of several shallow water fields off Nigeria as part of a larger phased project.As previously revealed by AOG the company is technical operator with Sunlink in the HI field in OPL 238 and is looking to push ahead with a probable FPSO project.However,this now appears to be part of the much larger Shallow Water Offshore plan by Shell which will also see the development of the HA,HB,HD and JK fields.When the development was last seen more than a decade ago under a slightly different guise it was simply called the H Block project(see AOG 26 January 2007).
