However, across the country, lack of cooling facilities has forced smallholder farmers to sell off their milk through informal channels, compromising hygiene and quality.Milk spoilage during handling and transportation is also prevalent.Companies dealing with milk handling equipment have been investing heavily in the milk sub-sector across the country.
