Conflicting Anti-War Narratives in Kamen Rider Amazons

After Japan is being defeated after the World War II, the discourse about military power became a polemic inside Japanese society. In article nine of Japanese constitution, it is said that “land, sea, and air forces, as well as other war potential, will never be maintained. Theright of belligerency of the state will not be recognized.” But recently the discourse of Japanese military had been debated, throughout Japan since 1954 but the problem had never been resolved up until early 2000. Through this paper I will analyze the Kamen Rider Amazons throughthe sociology theory of Marx. Through the comparative methodology Author will compare two character narratives at Kamen Rider Amazons character Haruka Mizuzawa and Takayama Jin and see the two conflicting values of anti-war. This analysis could show the two different ideology present on KamenRider Amazons series.
