Housing development is being developed to meet the needs of the lower classes. In August 2016, the President of the Republic of Indonesia announced 13 economic package policies on homes for low-income people along with a nationwide program of building one million homes. Most Indonesiansdo not have a home. Based on data from the Central Bureau of Statistics until the end of 2015, there are still 17.3% or about 11.8 million housewives who do not live in their own homes. This study aims to meet one of building construction components in the form of a home foundation that usesa precast system with a hollow trapezoidal design. The methodology performed is to test the strength of the hollow precast foundation of 1 piece at 14 days of concrete. The results indicate that precast foundation has the ability to receive a maximum vertical load of 6141 kg of load capabilityof 1,625 kg modest home. Based on the analysis, the precast foundation can be used to meet the needs of the foundation of the national housing program.
