摘要

The present study explored the internal influence mechanism of core self-evaluations on research performance using hierarchical regression analysis and a bootstrap method. Participants were 364 university teachers from 9 universities in China, and they were measured by scales of core self-evaluations, research performance, creative self-efficacy and work engagement. The results indicated that core self-evaluations were positively correlated with university teachers' research performance, while creative self-efficacy and work engagement mediate this correlation. Our study enrich the scholarly understanding on the correlation between core self-evaluations and job performance.
