摘要

This study deals with heavy metals contamination rate in fish muscle and bottom sediments from the Malé Záluzie pond. The samples offish (Cyprinus carpio) and bottom sediments were collected in October 2004, analyzed by AAS and subsequently evaluated in mg.kg~(-1) of dry weight. Concentrations of heavy metals in the fish muscle and sediments were as follows: Zn 16.19-33.52, 46.3-122.0; Cu 1.50-4.90, 14.0-30.1; Co 0.46-1.05, 14.2-31.7; Ni 0.39-0.79, 23.0-48.2; Cr 0.31-1.65, 13.4-97.2; Pb 0.67-3.71,12.7-37.4 and Cd 0.15-2.00 mg.kg~(-1) dry weight. Statistically significant differences in the relationship between heavy metals concentration in muscle and sediments were not confirmed. On average, the order of metal concentrations was: in fish muscleZn > Cu > Pb > Co > Cd > Ni > Cr; in bottom sediments Zn > Cr > Ni > Pb > Co > Cu > Cd.
