摘要

Curry leaf (Murraya koenigii Spreng.) is normally propagated by seeds. The freshly harvested seeds give maximum germination, but, they lose their viability very quickly in storage under open condition. The viability of seeds during storage is influenced by several internal and external factors such as storage temperature, containers, seed moisture content and others. However, none of the workers have studied the effect of types of storage containers, storage conditions, fungicide treatment and duration of storage on seed moisture content and germination in this crop. Thus, an investigation was carried out with an objective to study the effect of storage on seed moisture content and germination in curry leaf seeds.
