Taiwan consults on adding 255 ingredients to cosmetics prohibited list

Taiwan’s Food and Drug Administration (TFDA) is consulting on draft revisions to the list of ingredients prohibited for use in cosmetic products in the country, which includes 255 new ingredients and amendments to 40 existing entries. The consultation, launched on 3 December, runs until 2 February, with any approved changes scheduled to take effect on 1 July next year.
