In this issue ofCell Chemical Biology, describe the discovery of Glutor, a potent inhibitor of cellular glucose uptake. Combining Glutor with the glutaminase inhibitor CB-839 creates a metabolic crisis in cancer cells, synergistically impeding proliferation.
