AbstractA novel core-shell K/Cu/SmCe@TiO2catalyst is here reported being highly active on the selective reduction of nitric oxide with carbon monoxide under oxidizing conditions. It was found that the reaction proceeds with the generation of nitrates and nitrites adsorbed on the support and ionic nitrates adsorbed on alkaline sites.
