The design and synthesis of metal-based complexes using fluorescent ligands have several advantages and have received significant interest in the recent past.~(1-5) The type of ligands together with the metal centers determine the overall properties of the target complexes.~(6-9) Such metal-based fluorescent complexes, including macrocycles and metal-organic frameworks, were widely used for various important applications including light-harvesting, photody-namic therapy, and biological leveling.~(10-13)
