Over 400 members, guests and industry representatives attended The Concrete Society Awards Dinner held at the Intercontinental Hotel, Park Lane, London on 7 November 2013. This prestigious event celebrates excellence in concrete and is the longest running awards event in the UK construction industry, now in its 45th year. The Right Honourable Michael Portillo was this year's guest host presenting the awards to the winners. This year the Overall Winner was Hill Top House for its superlative expression of exposed concrete surfaces and modern interpretation of urban architectural form.
