Home to The Royal Shakespeare Theatre - one of the most famous theatres in the world - and known for its quaint streets and picturesque buildings, the Warwickshire town of Stratford-upon-Avon features a similar style of buiLdings, so it was vital that the hoteL's exterior keptin line with its surroundings. When Stepnell was briefed to refurbish Hotel Indigo Stratford-upon-Avon (formerly known as The FaLcon Hotel) in April 2017, the emphasis was on preserving the exterior features - particularly the Tudor roof and the black and white timber frame, which dated back to the 1600s.
