You would expect me to like this book and regard it as the book that every scientific glassblower was waiting for. Indeed it is in that category and makes a most welcome appearance in what seems like a desert of good reference books on our favourite subject. I will ignore the possible accusation that this is a biased review since I was one of the contributors to the publication. The main body of work is the result of extremely hard efforts by the author Paul Le Pinnet MBE. Those who know Paul will not be surprised at the professional style in describing numerous glassworking techniques.
