Windswept Whidbey Island

Whidbey Island is located at the entrance to Puget Sound, about 30 miles north of Seattle. The largest island in the state of Washington, it's the 4th largest island in the continuous 48 states. The long, north-south twisting piece of land is home tonumerous microclimates that are heavily influenced by being partially in the rain shadow of the Olympic Mountain Range and the weather that comes in off the Pacific.
