Effingham Pellets to set up shop in South Carolina

Effingham Pellets,a subsidiary of Charles Ingram Lumber Company,has announced plans to establish operations in Florence County,South Carolina.The newly formed company 1s a wood pellet manufacturer and distributor that supplies wood pellets for export sale to Europe.The firm's $5.4 million(€4.56 million)investment is estimated to create 10 jobs.Once up and running,the Florence County facility will produce pellets to be burned in place of coal at European plants.
