China's ZPC signs deal with DuPont for sulfuric acid regeneration unit

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Zhejiang Petroleum and Chemical Co. (ZPC) has awarded and signed contracts with DuPont for a sulfuric acid regeneration (SAR) unit at its upcoming $15bn petrochemical complex on Dayushan Island, the Chinese firm said on Wednesday. The contracts covers the engineering, technology license and proprietary equipment for the SAR unit, which is licensed by DuPont Clean Technologies, ZPC said in a statement.
