MUMBAI (ICIS)--India’s Nayara Energy Ltd plans to invest $20bn to set up a greenfield petrochemical complex and increase its refining capacity from the current 20m tonnes/year to 46m tonnes/year, according to a government source. The company plans to carry out the proposed expansion at its existing complex at Vadinar in western Gujarat state and expects to bring the new capacities online by 2024, the source at the Ministry for Environment and Forests said.
