US fuel ethanol stocks rise, production falls

HOUSTON (ICIS)--US fuel ethanol inventories rose 22.6m bbl for the week ending 29 December 2017, up 600,000 bbl from the previous week, the US Energy Information Administration (EIA)said on Thursday. Ethanol plant production stood at 1.032m bbl/day, down from 1.090m bbl/day during the previous week and down from 1.043m bbl/day during the same period in 2016.
