Japan’s July chemicals exports rise by 10.9% year on year

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Japan’s chemicals exports in July rose by 10.9% year on year to yen (Y) 740.2bn ($6.68bn), boosting the country's overall shipments abroad, the Ministry of Finance said on Thursday. Exports of medical products rose by 24.1% year on year to Y58.8bn in July while shipments of organic chemicals were up by 7.4% year on year to Y158.1bn, the ministry said in a statement.
