Europe ECH June contracts increase on propylene hike

LONDON (ICIS)--European epichlorohydrin (ECH) June contracts rose on the back of the 8% price jump in the monthly propylene feedstock settlement, sources said this week. Prices rose by European dollar 35/tonne on the low end of the range and European dollar 55/tonne on the high end of the range. The primary driver for the increase was the price jump of propylene as producers sought to pass on production costs.
