INSIGHT: Proposed US tariffs may hit major feedstock for FCC catalysts

HOUSTON (ICIS)--Among the Chinese imports facing tariffs by the US are rare earth products that could be used to make catalysts for fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) units. The US proposed the tariffs on five groups of rare earth products in July, among a list of $200bn worth of imports from China.
