Canada's Intertape Polymer to acquire Polyair for $146m

TORONTO (ICIS)--Intertape Polymer has agreed to acquire 100% of the outstanding equity value of Polyair Inter Pack for about $146m, the Montreal-based producer of polyethylene (PE) and specialised polyolefin films, woven coated fabrics and packaging systems said on Wednesday. Polyair, with dual headquarters in Toronto and Chicago, produces protective packaging, operating seven plants and employing about 600 people in North America.
