Evonik, China's Wynca form fumed silica joint venture in Zhenjiang

LONDON (ICIS)--Evonik and Chinese producer Wynca Group have formed a joint venture for the production of fumed silica in Zhenjiang, eastern China, the German chemicals producer said on Monday. Evonik will hold a 60% stake in the joint venture, with Wynca holding the remaining 40%. The German producer did not disclose capital expenditure (capex) figures; it said the investment stood in the "mid double-digit million" euro range.
