China's Tangshan Risun to build 1.2m tonne/year naptha cracker in Tangshan

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China's Tangshan Risun Petrochemical is planning to build a new 1.2m tonne/year naphtha cracker and other downstream units to transform its Tangshan site into an integrated refining and petrochemical complex, a company source said on Tuesday. Derivative plants such as polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) units will be built but details on their capacities have not been finalised, the source said.
