Bayer nearing completion of Monsanto purchase, but synergies lower - CEO

LONDON (ICIS)--Bayer is expected to complete the purchase of US-based agrochemicals giant Monsanto “in the near future” nearly two years since the deal was agreed, but synergies from the purchase are likely to be lower than initially expected, according to company CEO Werner Baumann on Friday.
