HOUSTON (ICIS)--US base oil re-refiner and producer Kleen Performance Products (KPP) announced posted price increases on all its Group II+ viscosity grades. KPP is increasing all viscosities at each of its three locations by 10 cents/gal effective 19 March. The Group II+ posted prices following the 19 March announcement at the US West coast location are at $3.96/gal for the 120 viscosity and at $4.16/gal for the 220/240 grade.

7. Commodity prices have risen sharply since 2006. This may benefit developing countries specialized on primary exports, but poverty may increase. Uruguay is a net exporter of primary products and a net importer of oil. With the aim of analyzing the impact of soaring commodity prices and policy options, we apply a CGE model and microsimulations.
