HOUSTON (ICIS)--US monopropylene glycol (MPG) is facing conflicting pressures of increasing demand and lower feedstock costs.US October MPG contracts assessed by ICIS are at 77.00-85.17 cents/lb ($1,698- 1,878/tonne) FOB (free on board) east of the Rockies for industrial grade and 86.00-96.17 cents/lb for pharmaceutical grade.
