HOUSTON (ICIS)--Spot mixed xylenes (MX) prices in the US were relatively stable over the past week, as buying interest was limited and supply was said to be sufficient. A producer source commented that it does not see any incentives to produce marginal barrels of MX as demand for MX as an octane booster is being depressed by ample availability for reformate and weaker gasoline prices.
