SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Asahi Kasei Mitsubishi Chemical Ethylene Corp has confirmed the shutdown of its 567,000 tonnes/year naphtha cracker in Mizushima on 27 July caused by a “malfunction in its refrigeration system”, with no definite restart date set.
