Sasol seeks 3 cent/lb hike for US alcohols

HOUSTON (ICIS)--South African producer Sasol is seeking a 3 cent/lb ($66/tonne) increase for propyl acetate and propyl alcohol, effective on 1 December or as contracts allow, ICIS learned on Tuesday. In a letter to customers obtained by ICIS, Sasol said the hikes were in response to market conditions.
