China’s Guangxi Xintiande cuts etac plant run rate to 45%

MELBOURNE (ICIS)--China’s Guangxi Xintiande Energy has slashed its ethyl acetate (etac) plant run rate to around 45% capacity from 100% previously, following a drawdown in its acetic acid inventories, a company source said on Wednesday. The plant, at Qinzhou in China’s Guangxi province, has a capacity to produce 200,000 tonnes/year of etac.
