摘要

In this paper, an application of the split-step Pade method to solve the standard parabolic equation is presented. Accuracy and rapidity over a classical finite-difference method are examined by comparing the computed solutions with an exact solution. A treatment of the flat sea bottom appropriate for the split-step Pade method is also presented. Continuity of both pressure and normal particle velocity at the interface is preserved. The good performance of this treatment is proved by comparing with well known reference examples.
