摘要

In the energy structure of iron and steel enterprises, the surplus gas accounts for 30%~40% of the total energy consumption as the secondary energy sources. The efficient utilization of the surplus gas produced in the process of iron and steel smelting is the key of the energy saving and emission reduction of iron and steel enterprises. Gas turbine combined cycle power plant (CCPP) can efficiently utilize surplus gas (thermal efficiency up to 45%), and reduce the cost of external electricity purchase by increasing the self generating capacity. In this paper, the iron and steel surplus gas system is equipped with two sets of CCPP power generation facilities, and the maximum consumption of blast furnace gas is 540 km3 per hour. The operation of a gas turbine depends mainly on the caloric value adjustment. When a single gas turbine tripped, the fluctuation of the calorific value of the gas system will easily cause the tripping of the second units. Two sets of gas turbine tripping almost at the same time will result in blast furnace gas pipeline pressure rise, overpressure, adversely affect the safe operation of gas system.
