Prospective evaluation of CAD system with comparative reading on lung cancer CT screening

The clinical practical use of a CAD system developed for assisting comparative reading of lung cancer using Helical CT images is being done for the support physicians. This CAD system has a function to retrieve data set corresponding to the screening case as well as the nodule detection function. The purpose is to prospectively evaluate the comparative reading at repeated scans during eight months from 2002.4 to 2002.12. This study demonstrates the potential usefulness of the CAD system using the repeated scans.
