Government could miss ‘once in a generation opportunity’ if it doesn’t act now on Carbon Capture Storage

Geologists have a vital role to play in helping the UK to win a “once-in-a- generation” opportunity to harness and capitalise on carbon capture storage (CCS). But the Government must take urgent action to make the CCS industry happen. This is the conclusion of Channel 4’s science correspondent Julian Rush in a speech to delegates next week (Tuesday, October 5) at a public event being hosted by the Petroleum Exploration Society of Great Britain (PESGB).
