Advantages of the method of uranium underground leaching are considered. Features of work running in mining and processing complexes are briefly described. The mechanism of uranium leaching by sulfuric acid solution is presented, as wellas cost structure of uranium mining via underground leaching. The "Program of scientific-research and pilot-engineering works for improvement of equipment and technology for uranium underground leaching in Russia during 2002-2010" is elucidated in details.
