The new circuit processing of low quality bauxite on a basis of hydrogarnet technology is offered. The review of known ways of processing of high SiO_2-contenting raw materials is executed and the comparative data on structure waste mud, under the charge of raw material and power resources and under the cost price alumina, in comparison with a new way are given. Hydrogranet technology, with reference to Timan bauxite, allows reducing the operational charges, to improve technology of a production cycle and to reduce capital expenses at construction of a new alumina plant.
