Ferrexpo increases spending on Ukrainian mines

Ferrexpo, a major Ukrainian iron ore exporter, kept increasing capex to support and develop its iron ore assets duringJanuary-September 2018.Ferrexpo invested $90.1 million (UAH 2.4 billion) in the development of Poltava Mining, Yeristovo Mining and BelanovoMining over the period, which is 61% higher than during the same period in 2017. It spent more than $63.8 million onPoltava Mining and over $26.3 million on Yeristovo Mining and Belanovo Mining, specifically the processing, railwaydevelopment, quarry and infrastructure capital projects, geological and other works.
