After the increase of billet offer prices last week, suppliers managed to sell some tonnages at higher prices to Asia.However, some buyers are still not ready to buy as they stockpiled earlier.Russian semis were sold to the Philippines at $475/t CFR, in line with offers announced last week, but about $15?20/tabove the previous contacts. Deals in Taiwan for Russian and Malaysian billet were also reported at about $475?478/tCFR this week, Metal Expert learnt.
