South Korea imported 63% more ethanol in Oct

The Korea Customs Service reported the country imported 38,133 mt(9.7K b/d)of ethanol in Oct.Undenatured ethanol imports jumped 159% on the month to 16,413 mt(4.2K b/d);Brazil and Pakistan were the top undenatured ethanol suppliers,providing 65% and 32% of South Korea’s total undenatured imports,respectively.For Jan.-Oct.,Pakistan was the top supplier,providing 31% of the 118,368 mt(3.IK b/d)that South Korea imported during the period.Australia was next with 25%,and Brazil was third with 23%.For Oct.alone,the US provided 95% of the 21,720 mt(5.5K b/d)of denatured ethanol South Korea imported.
