According to the US EIA,the national average retail price for regular-grade gasoline(conventional and reformulated together)posted three consecutive weeks of double-digit declines,falling by 11.5¢/gal from March 23 to reach an over-four-year low of $2.005/gal on March 30.The national average for the two formulations is now 68.6¢/gal lower on the year.Regular-grade RFG's national average price lost 10.1¢/gal to hit a nearly-four-year low of $2.260/gal as of March 30-60.3¢/gal lower on the year.The average price for conventional and reformulated regular-grade gasoline together in the state of Ohio was the nation's lowest,having dipped by 14.1¢/gal over the week to hit $1.596/gal.For regular-grade RFG alone,the lowest price was the $1.704/gal found in both the state of Texas and the Gulf Coast region where the price was 10.1¢/gal lower on the week.The city of San Francisco in California had the week's highest price for the average of conventional and reformulated regular-grade gasoline as well as for regular-grade RFG alone at $2.9ol/gal-a 10.3¢/gal week-on-week decrease,but Los Angeles was not far behind,with an average price of $2.960/gal,which was 12.4¢/gal lower on the week.
